Symposium and Exhibition opening at August 27-29, 2024

On behalf of the B'nai B'rith Frankfurt Schönstädt Lodge e. V., I would like to invite you to the vernissage and subsequent exhibition of the first scientific work on the lodges in Frankfurt, Nuremberg and Mannheim, representing all 103 B'nai B'rith lodges of the VIII. German District in the former Wilhelmine Empire, to Frankfurt.

Ukraine: delivery of kosher food and matzah

When the first transport arrived safely in Lviv, we started work on the second. A shipment of kosher food for Passover was to be brought on its way to Lviv. No sooner said than done, everything was organized and 300 kilos of kosher food for Passover were sent via Frankfurt, then Monchengladbach to Lviv.

Tradition with a future

Little has changed in the ideals and goals of the twelve German Jews from Hamburg who founded the first B'nai B'rith Lodge in New York in 1843.
Then as now, the foundations on which the Lodge rests are:

B'nai B'rith stands for solidarity with the weaker, respect for the inviolability of human dignity and for the imperative of tolerance.

Events

Cultural and other events are held regularly in our rooms. The diverse topics are always related to Israel or Judaism.

Talks & Seminars

We organize lectures on various religious, socio-political, cultural and current issues as well as seminars on different topics at regular intervals.

Concerts & Cinema

Our concert events and cinema-quality film screenings present the diversity of Jewish culture to an interested audience.

Library

We have a large selection of high quality Judaica and continue to expand our inventory. The books are open to all interested parties for study purposes.

Social projects

The B'nai B'rith Frankfurt Schönstädt Lodge supports projects specifically. We support needy Jewish people as well as organizations, old people's homes and further social projects in Frankfurt and Israel.
